A BEAUTIFUL DAY

"Some of my best leading men have been dogs and horses" -- Elizabeth Taylor
Hi my dear friends,
It has been a beautiful fall day here in Houston. When the Mommy left for church this morning it was cold but by the time she got home the sun was shining in all it's glory. So what has been going on all day? Nothing!! What a glorious day!! Just me and the Mommy setting outside (while she was washing clothes), running around the yard, sniffing and barking at the birds and then pesky squirrels.
So this post is short & sweet today, but the Mommy would like some of your Mommies or Daddies to tell her if they know what kind of berries these are and if they might be OK to eat? These vines are growing on the fence between me and Spike's house were the bees are always swarming around. They look Yummy!!

This is me resting for a minute between chasing the birds and laying in the sun.

Here I am standing in the planters looking for bugs. The Mommy saw me walking around the planter on the blanks, I always walk around one and then hop to the other one but the Mommy was too slow. By the time she got the camera I was done. Oh well.....Maybe next time.

This little video only took 4 hours to load. Hope ya like it. This is what a lazy fall day in Texas looks like.

Love, kisses and Huggies to all.....Mona

Hi Mona
I like doing nothing all day. So does mom, especially if it's Sunday.
I enjoyed your video. Your lucky you have such a good place to practice your balance beam skills.
See your soon.
Love Ruby
btw Mom says she doesn't know what kind of berries those are.

What a nice relaxing day you and your mommy had, Mona!
We're not sure what kind of berries those are! We don't think you should eat them until you know for sure!

Love ya lots,

Hi Mona! I couldn't watch your video because mom's computer is running at the speed of molassas in January. I do love fall days in Texas though!

I was so sad to read about Girl Girl.

I left something for you over at my place.

Hi Mona,
Thanks for sharing the pic of our national flower!
Hmmm.. I have no idea what those berries are, but I reckon since the bees are swarming around them, they should be ok to eat? Then again, I have 2nd thoughts.. better to be safe than sorry! So it's best to stay away from them until you are sure!

Chasing birds, we like to do that too. We come back inside so tired after running around our backyard.

I've seen those berries before but I'll be darned if I can remember what they are. Anyway, it sounds like you had a nice, peaceful day.
