Hi my dear friends,
Sorry we have been gone for a few days but there is so much going on this weekend and lots of planning & getting ready for it to be done.
Tomorrow the Mommy's niece Sheila is coming to town with her two boys, Ezra and Levi. Ezra is a special little boy. He has Downs Syndrome and had to have heart surgery last October because a heart problem was also effecting his breathing. He is now 2 years old and we haven't seen him since then. The Mommy is very excited and so am I. The Mommy is going over to Aunt Pam's (where they are staying) after work tomorrow but was given strict instructions to pick me up first. The boys want to see ME!!
Saturday is our annual Bono (my Grandma's side) family reunion. That's why Sheila & her family are coming since they missed it last year and the whole family wants to see how well Ezra is doing. The Mommy is making her famous tuna casserole and avocado salad. She said she absolutely refuses to make deviled eggs this year.
Sunday is the big event the, DROH HALLOWEINER PARTY. I'm not really sure if I'm supposed to the a ballerina, a princess or just what but I'll find out on Sunday. The Mommy will be taking pictures of me & all the doggies in their costumes, so I'll let you guys be the judge. I have something special to wear on my date with Snowy for Halloween night.
Monday the Mommy is taking the day off so she can visit with Sheila, Eric (her husband) & the boys before they go back to Arkansas in the afternoon.....correction.....so ME and the boys can play again before they leave.
We can't visit very long tonight because the Mommy just got home. It is now 10:44 pm but I'm not mad at her. She went and got her hair done (thank goodness...she was scary looking) and her nails done. Then she went to see Tina, Chris and Emily. Can you believe that Tina actually thought that the Mommy wouldn't visit anymore since Jody went to the bridge. The Mommy told them that they couldn't get rid of her that easily. The Mommy said that she would always love them for what they did for Jody in the one really good year they gave him. Why am I not mad at the Mommy you ask? Chris had told the Mommy that she wanted her to have Jody's leash since the Mommy brought it with her when she picked him up after Chris and Emily found him. So she got it tonight and asked Chris if she could have one of Jody's blanket. Of course Chris said OK but wanted to wait until she had a chance to wash them. The Mommy told her no, she wanted his scent on it. The Mommy said she would put it with Samantha's shrine but when she got home she put it on the cushion of the couch and went to the kitchen to get my dinner. When she got back, I was roaching all over my best buddy's blanket, so it is now mine. I shall treasure it always, holes and all.

I think it's a great thing that you have Jody's blanket now... I am sure Jody would want you to have it.. fur, saliva, holes, and all..
Sounds like you are going to have a really busy weekend. I bet you can't wait to see the boys. Drohhalloweiner party sounds like fun. I have never heard of one of them before. Looking forward to seeing the costumes.
