"If a dog's prayers were answered, bones would rain from the sky." -- Turkish proverb
Hi my dear friends,
Friday night there was a change of plans. Sheila & the boys didn't get to come until Saturday morning, so I haven't seen the boys yet. I was very disappointed but after the Halloweiner
this afternoon, me and the Mommy are gonna go over to my Aunt Pam's so I can visit with the boys. Then to top everything off, I didn't get to go to the family reunion. The place they had it at this year said NO DOGS ALLOWED. Does that mean cats would have been allowed. I tell you IT IS NOT FAIR!!!
So I stayed home but as you can see I gave the Mommy my "Your leaving me again" look.
Works every time. The Mommy had a miserable time, she said. I don't believe a word of it. When she got home she had coffee on her breath and you know what that means....gossip but without the rocking chair, front porch and a bunch of doggies running around.
ME ON JODY'S BLANKIE
The Mommy is just gonna show a few quick pictures of the kids because they are the next generation and where would the family be without them. All the original brothers and sisters of the Bono clan are long, long gone and all but one woman & man of their children are go now too.
All the kids, like the Mommy, of those children ARE the NOW generation. The Mommy said it was kinda sad because all the older folks are all gone now and so most of the of the old Italian traditions are gone too. The Mommy's first cousin, Joe, is he only Bono boy that had a son.
He is the only one left that carries the Bono name. JoJo's wife is pregnant again, so everybody's fingers are crossed for a boy to carry the name on. There are just too many girls in our family.
Girls, girls, girls BUT the new generation has 4 boys for sure....but no Bonos'
This is Lindsey, the only little girl there last night.
A group shot of our boys and Kayliegh.
Left to right: Lane, Kayliegh, Blake, Ezra and Levi.
Lane & Blake are my Aunt Pam's grandchildren. Ezra and Levi are my Aunt Frances's grandchildren. Kayliegh is my Aunt Shirley's granddaughter, who chased the boys & Lindsey around all night while the OLD people drank coffee and caught up on old times.
Of course they did eat and didn't bring nothing home for me.
The family is big on roots so here are the descendants of Anne Marie Bono, the Mommy's Mommy.
