Some More Of My Bones

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"The more I know about men, the more I like dogs" -- Gloria Allred

Hi my friends,

The Mommy is making me make my post short tonight. I know you guys get tired of hearing me say the Mommy has been crying again but whenever she thinks about how much she misses Samantha and my brother Toby, still not readopted, she crys some more. Somebody asked the Mommy how old I was and the Mommy said Samantha died in January 2005 and she adopted me in February 2005 and I was 2 years old then so that would make me around 5 1/2 years old. The Mommy said it seems like yesterday when she adopted me, so she thinks of me as still being 2 years old. Then she said Samantha was almost 15 years old when she went to the Rainbow Bridge and on June 15 th, she would be 18 years old, if she was still here. All that calculating got her to crying big time. She said she would just die if she loses me and I told her "Mommy, I'm still here and I'm not going anywhere"

I should be the one crying.....I'm the one that just found out she is 5 1/2 years old.....you do the math....how old does that make me in human years? I hope Simba doesn't think I'm too old for him. Is there any doggie that will want me anymore....Boohoo.....now we're both crying!!

So the Mommy decided to makeup for making me cry about how old I am and brought me some Ham hoke bones. I perked up in no time at all when she said they for me!!,

Here I am waiting patiently for my bones.

Here are my bones!!!

Here I am resting after I chewed on my bones for about 3 hours---actually until it started to get dark outside & then the Mommy made me come into the house--of course I brought my bones inside--there's still some good chewing to be had.

And here is a video of me getting down with my bones.
Later....gotta go....my bones are calling me....Love Mona

Oh Mona. You are just so adorable in your pictures. I hope you and your mom are not still crying. My mom cried a lot when she had to help my sister Taffy to the bridge. The thought of that day still hurts. We all miss her a lot. Mom even left a basket with towels in the bathroom as it was when Taffy used to sit in it....it is still there today and it has been a year and a half. Taffy's furs are even still on the towels!
Hope you have cheered up your mom.
Oh, and I will try to have my mom do the meme this weekend. Mom has been working a lot....so you know how that goes.

Mona, you are such a slow eater like Faith. Faith will play around with hr food 1st & then only a few minutes later, she will chew it properly & swallow. Your bones look yummy btw!

Your bones lasted forever. I would have had those things gone by then. How do you do it?

Mona, my darling, age is just a number. My Mummy says the pain of losing someone is the price you pay for loving and she'd do it over and over to feel that love.

Three bones at a time?! We'd say you're a pretty lucky girl, Mona!
We hope your mommy feels better after her cry. Happy and Simba are right, age is just a number! I hope my mom believes them too seeing as I'm almost 10!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
