Hi my friends,
This evening the Mommy & I were sitting outside in our bare dead backyard, when the Mommy spied this bush beside the garage. It's hard to believe, but if you blow the picture up you, you can actually see life on that bush...little buds ready to bloom. There are three plants that the Mommy has never been able to kill.....Gladiolas, Hibiscus and Weeds. Ever year, they come back, which is amazing because the Mommy never waters...Lazy. Lazy and Lazier!!! It is so nice to see something green and a little color back there.
This is one of several Hibiscus plants.we have. When they do come in there will be all kinds of different colors.
This Hibiscus bud is almost ready to open. We think it might be a yellowish orange or maybe even pink.
Then guess what else we found? Two gladiolas---this one
And then this one.
That was it. We didn't see anymore, so the Mommy picked them so she can take them to work tomorrow to show them off to her friends.
As most of you have probably noticed by now, we have several guardian angles looking over my blog. Three actually. The Mommy believes in angels and has all her life and she believes that there are angels among us both alive and resting in peace until they meet us again. The three angles guarding my blog are the beautiful angel holding her hands out to let a bird fly free, the angel holding a little dog on it's shoulder and off course the Mommy's Samantha. The Mommy has a collection of angels, 4 of which are very special to her and her sisters. The 4 below were made by my Aunt Frances, the Mommy's sister that died in 1994. My poor Grandpa wanted a son but all he ever got was 4 little devils, all girls. Frances made 4 sets so each sister would have their own set. It's kinda funny, everybody was 13 months apart starting in December then, January, February and March.

The flowers are very pretty. Mummy named my eldest human brother Michael, afte the angel, because she said he was sent to her my an angel. He sure is a devil now lol.
