QUOTE IF THE DAY:
"There's something comforting about being in a house where dog & cat hair litters the sofa and bedspreads." ----
Hi my dear friends,
I hope every doggie and kitty cat enjoyed the pictures of all my dachshund friends from my wonderful visit on Sunday. Before I go any further, I want you to know that the Mommy made a mistake yesterday "so what else is new" that needs to be corrected right away. Harley is not a dapple---he is a black brindle.
As much as the Mommy knows about dachshunds, you would have thought she could have got something that important right....WHAT A DOOFUS!!!
So while I making the Mommy confess to the error of her ways, I'm gonna tell ya something else she did, that she didn't even tell Aunt Judy about. She went & left my gift for the boys...her turkey meat loaf with mashed tater icing. Can you believe it? So what did the Mommy do when she got home? Do you think she gave he a piece.....NO SHE DID NOT!! She went & froze it, so when they come to my house she won't have to make another one.....How lazy can the Doofuss get?
As most of you have already seen in my videos, our yard is nothing but dead grass, a few bush and what used to be 2 vegetable wooden plants. What a mess!!
As you could tell by Aunt Judy's videos, her yard is a lush paradise with all kinds of green plants, flowers, vegetables & fruit trees. Now you can understand why we love it at Aunt Judy's....so many shady places to nap in and under and not at all boring like my yard.....also lots of places to hid.
So here are some pictures of My Aunt Judy's yard. We gotta be going now because the Doofuss can't miss DANCING WITH THE STAR....go Christian go!!
This is the Mommy's favorite spot in the whole yard. This is a fig tree & the Mommy's Daddy had a huge one like this so it makes her think of her Daddy...he died a long time ago but she still misses him a lot.
These are the Mommy's favorite flowers. Aunt Judy called them bleeding roses.
These are tomato plants & we always get some when Aunt Judy picks them. She also has a lemon tree.
These flowers are called angel trumpets.
She was engaged to a florist 100 years ago, so you think she would have learned something......hehehehe.....When you are old as dirt you forget a lot of things.
