Remember how me said the Mommy & a bunch of other ladies got together this last weekend to get the invitations ready t0 be mailed out for the Spring Fling in April? Well the Mommy wanted everybody to see how cute the invitations came out. So here it is. Then the Mommy decided her wanted to show me in my new RED BIKINI me will be wearing if it's warm.
Please forgive me. Me wasn't really in the mood to be taking pictures since me hadn't had my hair done yet....me look to hairy!!! "you are a wire haired dachshund after all, Mona".

That is a really cool invitation! Your bikini is very cute, too. Mom says Sasha will be going to the groomer soon. She's not supposed to be a wire haired, but her hair is really wirey for a smooth haired. She's even a little too wirey for a wire haired! It drives Mom crazy because Sasha's favorite thing to do outside is to roll in the leaves which then means Mom spends hours picking leaves and weeds out of Sasha's coat. Sasha had to go to the vet once because a pokey weed got stuck in her throat and she wouldn't eat or anything because she had an infection in her throat. Now during warm weather Sasha gets her hair cut really really really short and she's not allowed to clean her coat out herself. Mom calls her her high maintenance pup.
