(message from Otis's Mom)
Everything is going great. Otis had a little anxiety the first day and chewed the door frame but I got that sour apple spray and today when I got home he didn't seem to have touched it again. Also when I leave he doesn't bark long anymore, which was my main concern being in an apartment. He's just such a good dog.
I think he has settled in quickly and is a great fit! I found out that my apartment is getting a dog park so I'm pretty excited about that.

(message from Rosie's forever family)
Minnie (we are calling her Rosie now) saw our vet yesterday. Everyone in the place fell in love with her, of course. We can’t thank you enough for our new pup. We are so thankful to have her and she has brought us so much joy!

and the last DREAM adoption for the month was Watson. MOMMY did the home visit and has become
great friends with his Mommy, Miss Martha who is now a volunteer and soon to be foster Mom.
Dr Watson is such a good boy. I can't believe our good luck w/ him. He hasn't pee'd or pooped in the house even once. He comes when I call him. He's affectionate & loving. He walks on a leash like a show dog. And understands when I say, "no". At first he attached himself to my husband, but now he is my shadow. Dr Watson & Sushi are always together. The boston terrier, Fenny, is in her own world most of the time anyway. But it's almost like Sushi has been showing him the ropes on how to be a part of our family. He was absolutely perfect on the trip to Ark. I am truly amazed. I wish everyone could know how wonderful a dachshund adoption could be! Dr Watson & I are looking forward to participating in a DREAM function on this side of town.
