PAX........1 YEAR LATER and Father's Day Smiley Box reminder.

Quote of the day:

"There's no place like home, but it's awful empty when your doggies are away from home." ~~ the Mommy

The Mommy here.......I would like to thank everyone for all your thoughts and prayers. I am on the road to recovery but it is awful not having the girls with me. I wish I could fly over to where they are staying on Weenie's magic bumble bee to peek in on them but that's too much weight for him even if he is magic.

I just hope when they can come home, they'll want too. I have decided that I need to try and keep busy doing stuff that doesn't mean picking up stuff  and since I'm still limited to walking around, it's time to catchup on all the blog action we've missed.
Here it is almost July and I haven't done the May adoptions for
dachshund rescue that will be first.

2nd up......The much delayed Father's Day Smiley Box will be completed and posted on July 4th. So there is still plenty of time to send pictures of that special Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother, Cousin or just plain male friend to be included. Mona has a picture with her Uncle Sonny and Prissy is hoping to get one with Tim so she can be included. My little Weenie never had a picture taken a man but I've got some of my other boys and their Daddy's to post.

Please don't be left out. Deadline for submitting pictures is June 30. Send pictures to redricca@sbcglobal.net and include your name and the name of that man in your life. Rainbow Bridgers and fosters will be included.

Now for some fun......

It's been awhile since we've posted pictures of Paxton.
Last year on April 17, a little ball of fire came into this world. Yesterday, his Mom sent me this video. He is non stop BOY!!!

To celebrate his 1st year, I made a Smiley Box for his Mom with pictures gathered through the year. It's not hard to see how much he means to all of us.

Paxton just keeps getting cuter every day! :)

Just rest and heal. Soon the girls will be home again and they'll keep you busy.

I bet Paxton's Mom loved that Smilebox, it was great. What a happy, cute little boy.

Ms. Sarah, I hope you feel better soon and before you know it, your babies will be back home.

Love, Cupcake
