Mommy went to the surgeon today and she is gonna have surgery this Friday to take her old rotten gall bladder out, so this might be our last post for a few weeks. The doctor said Mommy can't pick anything up over 10 pounds for at least two weeks. Dang it, that means me and Weenie. I've talked to Baby Girl and she says not worry that we will be taken good care of and she has lots of things for us to do. But what about Mommy? Who will take care of Mommy? Who will give her kisses and lick her tears away when she cries because of the pain? That's our job. She says once it's out she won't be crying any more but we can still give her all the kisses we want. We love Aunt Tina and Chris but they aren't Mommy. Our real Aunt Pam says she wants Mommy to stay with her and Uncle Sonny but Mommy wants to stay home. Aunt Pam says we'll see about that. Wanna bet who wins that argument? Our treat money is on Aunt Pam. Weenie gets very upset when Mommy isn't around. OK so do I.

I am not very happy. I miss Mommy already. So I've decided while we are away from home, I'm going to work on starting a new business venture centered around transportation. I just gotta find some more help. You just can't trust your friends with just any old horsie. What do you think?

Just because your momma can't lift you doesn't mean you can't help! I bet someone else can lift you up in her bed so you can snuggle with her and kiss her gently. It will make her feel MUCH better. I know she'll be just fine!

Your Mommy is going to feel so MUCH better. No more attacks in the middle of the night if she ate something naughty ( this happened to me often, the misery!! ) The surgery part is always a little scary but I am excited for her as she will feel GREAT once she is all healed up.

We just learned of your mom's coming surgery from the Houston Pittie Pack. We're sorry she's been sick and hope she will soon feel soooooo much better! We know she'll miss you too. Prayers, purrs and pawhugs for her.
Had my gall bladder out a few years ago. Honestly, no big deal at all. Came home and felt fine from the first day - just like I had never had surgery. Quite frankly, just knowing that I wouldn't be in so much pain again made all the days that followed so much brighter! Just don't overdo with the lifting and you'll be fine.

We're keeping our paws crossed for your Mommy. She's going to be just fine. Our aunt [Cousin Pretty Girl's mama] had that surgery and she had an excellent recovery and no more pain after - as long as she kept to a low fat diet. Too much fat still makes her nauseus. Being as she and mama are both built like Sherman tanks, however, that's actually a good thing. Great limo idea, Weenie! We've never seen an actual horse.
