Hi there,

Mommy saw this joke in the DOXIE DIGEST, summer 2009 magazine. It is so cute so she decided to share it.

Seeing Eye Dog?

There were two buddies, one with a German Shepherd and the other with a Dachshund. The guy with the German Shepherd says to his friend,

"Let's go over to that resturant and get something to eat"

He guy with the Dachshund says,

"We can't go in there. We've got dogs with us."

The buddy with the German Shepherd says,

"Just follow my lead."

They walk over to the resturaunt, the guy with the German Shepherd puts on a pair of dark glasses, and he starts to walk in. The bouncer at the door says,

"Sorry, man, no pets allowed."

The man with the German Shepherd says,

"You don't understand. This is my see-eye dog."

The man at the door says,

"Come on in."

The buddy with the Dachshund figures,

"What the heck."

So he puts on a pair of dark glasses and starts to walk in. Once again the bouncer

says,

"Sorry, pal, no pets allowed."

The guy with the Dachshund says,

"You don't understand. This is my seeing-eye dog."

The bouncer at the door says,

"A Dachshund?"

The man with the Dachshund says,

"A dachshund??? You mean to tell me, that they gave gave me a Dachshund?!!"

Remember when Mommy first posted about Steve? His mange was very, very bad just like my brother, Jacks, was. Well with a lot of medical care, good food and good loving from his foster, he has been transformed. He gots hair!! Shiny, silky hair but he could still stand to gain a few more pounds. Mommy could just grab him up and smother him in kisses.

Since Mommy shared pictures of Steve and how well he is doing,
we decided to show a video my Uncle Ron sent us. Remember over a year ago when Teddy became paralyzed? Uncle Ron made him a cart and he had to learn to walk in it. Here is the link to it.................

Teddy will never walk again on his own but that hasn't stopped him from having a happy life with Uncle Ron and Aunt Deb's pack.
