16 Days until my Gotcha day

Hi there,

Remember when I said that Aunt Judy would be dog sitting four dachshunds for a whole week? Well they arrived Monday and OMD!! two are Piebalds just like Bandit and Brooklyn. There are Piebalds everywhere. Heidi is a chocolate Piebald, very unusual even for a Piebald. She is very, very shy and last year when Aunt Judy watched them, she was just a puppy and hid behind the couch most of the time. She runs whenever she sees a camera, so the picture below was the best Aunt Judy could get.

Bandit's coloring is very unusual and Aunt Judy had never seen another Piebald with the same coloring until she met Isis. She was recently adopted, so Aunt Judy had never seen her before. It you look closely, you will see that Isis's right ear is black and her left ear is speckled with her eye batch on the left eye.


Now look at Bandit in the picture with Brooklyn. His markings are exactly apposite of Isis's. Never in a million years, huh.

When we go Saturday, to the Kissing Booth unveiling, we will try to take some better pictures and some of the other 2 dashsies visiting. For sure their will be 9 dachshunds there and maybe some other ones too. The more the merrier, Mommy says. One thing I know.........this time the girls will out number the boys....5 girls & 4 boys...."Girls Rule!!!"
