Smilebox from 2014 Mini Me Winter Olympics

  .
Angel Weenie here....

I'm back again with one more Smileybox
memory. Mommy hunted and hunted for us and could only find one more DWB Olympic creation for us to share. It's as hot as Hades
in Texas but cool as Blue Bell ice cream here at the bridge so we decided to go ahead and share it now because it was very cold then. It's the 2014's DWB Mini Me Winter Games. I was already at the bridge but Mona and Prissy loved ever minute of it. Hope you enjoy it!!!

SMILEBOX  from SUMMER OLYMPICS 2012

 Angel Weenie here,

As a new Olympics will be starting this Friday we begged the Mommy to let us share the first ever Blogville Olympics from 2012.  That was before I, Weenie, got my angel wings and a year before Prissy joined our family. Mona has been telling Prissy all about it and how much fun we had.

Mommy, as most of you know, is battling the big C and just has not been up to blogging since the girls aren't with her anymore. No inspiration she says but that doesn't mean she doesn't think about the critters and their peeps of DWB and visits whenever she can but doesn't leave comments.

For now she is burning the roads up between Houston and Benchley were Mona and Prissy are to see them. She goes every chance she gets and says as long as she can drive she's going. She said tell you all she's OK for now, still working  cause she doesn't like staying home without the girls.

Anyway, here is the first installment of the Blogville Summer Olympics 2012. Stay tuned for more. Ms Lana, Frankie and Ernie's Mom will let you know when more will be posted.

Enjoy!!

Happy Valentine's Day Mommy

Mommy's girls here....

Mommy did great with her liver biopsy Friday. She was
awake during the whole thing and it helped that the Radiologist, Dr. Morales was gorgeous. She had to talk to him
during the whole procedure, while she came in and out of the Cat Scan machine and answered his questions while he was poking her with needles. Wanna guess what they talked about besides her condition? US, of course. He said he has 2 dogs a westie and a chaweenie and wants a dachshund. Of course
Mommy said that would not be a problem and just let her know when he was ready. Guess what else happened?

Are you guessing?

Once she asked him how old he was, which is 38, she told him she is old enough to be his mother and he better take good care of her and not let her see the needles. He said is mother had
died and she could stand in for her. Looks like we gots a new
human brother now case Mommy will never let him forget it and once he gets a dachshund we'll have a new buddy to visit.

Ok back to the procedure....

Thank goodness they had her all doped up on sedatives and he deadened her belly before hand. He said he only saw one spot that lit up on the Cat Scan and that's the one he took
the sample from. He said there were 2 others that did not light up that he left alone. The results will be back in 3 working days
so Mommy has a appointment with Dr. Reddy for Thursday and of course our real Aunt Pam will be going with her to get
the results and decide what happens next.
She is going back to work tomorrow.

Now the bad news......

We aren't home yet. Mommy can't lift anything for a few more days and that means us. Sammie Jean was very sad because this would have been her fist Valentine's day with Mommy but
the thought of being around Simone and Pappy made it easier.
Prissy and I bought Mommy the doggie up top but she can't eat it and neither can we so we're gonna let Tim and Pam it cause they always take such good care of us.

Happy Valentine's Day ....  Mona, Prissy and Sammie Jean

Guest post from Pam and Tim.

Mona here ... Well we are back with our buddies again.
Mommy is having her liver biopsy tomorrow and so off we went again. Pam sent Mommy this e-mail so she'd know how
things were going. Not to worry Mommy we are fine and will be home hopefully in time for Valentine's Day.

When the girls and I arrived last night, I decided to come in through the garage into the kitchen.  Our hoodlums heard the garage door raise up, and started barking wildly.  Upon hearing the chorus, yours lurched crazily toward the house door to get inside and join the bedlam.  When we 4 came in through the door, it was a way-over-the-top joyful reunion for everyone.

Simone and Sammie danced around together and Mona became very animated as she rushed around checking everyone out personally to be sure they were in tip-top shape. Then we all went into the backyard and told the neighbors ALL about it until Tim whistled through his front teeth to convince everyone that they should reduce the decibel level.  As a group, we rushed into the house, then back out of the house, then back in, then out, and so on.

You would have thought they hadn't seen each other in a year, although it was actually just a couple of weeks ago.

All is well.  VERY well with the kiddos!

and a Mommy update....

Mommy is still waiting for her needle Liver biopsy to be
scheduled. The MRI shows there is no cancer in her colon
(where the cancer was first found) or any other of her organs but there were 4 or more lesions on her liver thus the need for a biopsy. She has decided not to panic until they see what the biopsy shows. Actually she is feeling pretty good and is not
anemic anymore but still taking iron pills.

Please keep her in your prayers.

Love to all.........Mommy's Girls

Mona and the Mommy Updates

Hi dearest friends,

Prissy and Sammie Jean, your resident nurses on duty here....

Our computer is working again and before it dies we wanted to share a quick update on Mona and the Mommy.

First we want to say a big THANK YOU to our dear furfreinds
Frankie, Ernie and Sarge for letting you know Mona was out of the woods the other day. She had hemorrhagic gastroenteritis,
which is  nasty and very dangerous condition that can strike without warning. The Vet's at the emergency clinic still aren't sure what caused it but if was very scary. Mona stayed 2 nights and came home Thursday night. She is feeling much better but is still on 3 liquid medications and tomorrow afternoon she will be going to Dr Briles for a follow-up. Dr Alexander, at the
emergency clinic, fell in love with Mona and told Mommy she hated to see her go and what a sweet girl she was. She had taken a picture of Mona, showed it to Mommy and then e-mailed it to us so we could see Mona was getting better.

 Here it is.....

Here Mona is this afternoon with me, Prissy.....

Simone, Spencer and Pappy came over for a visit today and Mona played like nothing had happened. I, Prissy, have been very watchful that she doesn't overdue it. Here is a video that
their Mom took of some us chasing a reflection that we didn't catch, dang it!

This video Mommy took of our furfriends Mommy, Pam,
chasing the dogs. Mona just watched and barked at us.

Mommy will try again tomorrow to have her PET scan so please keep her and Mona in your prayers.

Update and Mona at Emergency Hospital

Dearest friends,

Yesterday did not go very well.
I was unable to do the PET scan because my sugar was too high, 20 points over the acceptable level to do the test. It has been rescheduled for the 11th.
I am very frustrated. If I had know the blood sugar was a significant factor I could have been better prepared.

Early this morning Mona started whimpering and wanted out of bed. I let her down and she ran to the pee paid and starting throwing up and peeing
what looked like blood. I threw some clothes on
and grabbed her up and headed to the emergency
hospital. She started pooping bloody stools. while we were headed over there.

She is there now. I well update as I hear something new.

Please keep Mona next to your hearts and in your
prayers.

POTP Request for the Mommy

Dearest friends,

Our Mommy will be having a PET scan tomorrow to see
if her cancer has returned. During her regular 2 month blood work on Dec 15th her CEA levels had risen enough for her
doctor to justify a PET scan. Of course insurances being as they are, the test had to authorized which took until Dec 23th to
get approved. Being the holidays, tomorrow was the earliest it could be done. Mommy hasn't been feeling very well in quite a while and she is still anemic. All she wants to do is sleep which is OK with us because we love napping with her. She doesn't
sleep much at night and then has to go to work on top of feeling bad. The PET scan will tell if the cancer has returned and everywhere it is but not how severe it is. She is scared and so are we.

Please keep the Mommy in yours prayers......

Ringing in the New Year at IHOP

What a wonderful night we all had last night
at the NYE party and we never wanted it to end
but as all things must, it did.
Us Texas girls decided it was way to soon to end our
fabulous dates with the boys of Blogville,
so with everybody's Mommy's permission we all
headed of to our local IHOP.

Angel Weenie and Amber stayed home for
a little alone time before she and Max have to
go back home to Florida and Angel Weenie checks back in at the bridge.

So off we went,

Mona
and
Max

Prissy
and
Sarge

Sammie Jean
and
Higgins

We had wonderful food and lots of
strong coffee after all those Rubyritas

with lots of  laughing and
planning for future Blogville events

UNTIL

Sammie Jean said it was too soon to end the night and jumped
up and started dancing on top of the booth.

Lookit the look on Higgie's face!!

Before we end this post we have a link to share with all our
Blogville friends. It's called Lily and the Snowman. It's
kinda the way we feel. Even when we are apart you are always in our hearts and though we may not post as often as we wished you are always with us. Please click below.

Until next time!!

Happy New Years Eve Party

Hey fur friends,

They party is on and going strong. Please hurry over
to our hosts of the Blogville hijinks including tonight's
New Years Eve Party for the official posts. Here are the links
to their blogs........

Angel Weenie here........

My Amber

My breath was totally taken away when my heart walked into the door along with her brother Max. I was stumbling all over my angel wings and big paws to get to her. That's why there's
not a picture of me, just her. I might be a the bridge but my love for her has never ended.

Anyhow we gathered Max and Mona up onto my magic bumble and headed for the party. Take a look at my Sissy and her fella.

This is the dress she choose to wear for their
official arrival at the party

then she changed into this dress to kick back and
dance.

Earlier in the evening, look what drove up in
front of our house and whisked my newest sister off before I had a chance to check Sammie Jean out.

Now I understand why they Mommy wanted me to come down and watch Sammie Jean. Let me tell you, I have had my hands full keeping up with those too. I really like Higgins
but my OMD that youngster is something else.

Here they were on their official arrival at the party.

Then Sammie changed into this little number to start dancing.
OMD Mommy would have had a fit if she'd seen her youngest in this. Kinda showing a little skin there girl!!

We haven't seen much of Prissy and her date Sarge, but they are adults and are on a triple date with Frankie and Ernie and their dates.

Prissy and Sarge look terrific together
and she choose a gorgeous dress for the party, she
looks so pretty in it with her flaming red hair.

The threesome have been dancing up a storm and Sarge is even letting Prissy have a dance or two with some of the other dudes there.
Here Sarge and Prissy are  getting ready to sit down to dinner and
have some Rubyritas and then it's off to dance the night away.

Now, our furiends, head right on over to The Doods and Dory to check out all of the NYEve Hijinks!!

Later Angel Weenie

PS........the girls have asked their dates to
go to IHOP for breakfast tomorrow in the wee hours of the morning, so check back here tomorrow
.

TOMORROW NIGHT JITTERS

Hi there fur friends,

Angel Weenie and my magic bumble bee here...we just
arrived from the bridge. I got special permission from the
TOP DOG ANGEL and GOD to come for one of my visits and what a better time than NYE to visit with my girl Amber and help the Mommy handle the jitters at our house.

Things are really crazy around our house right now.
Tomorrow is a big night, not only is it New Year's Eve
and the big Blogville New Years Eve party, but it's
Sammie Jean's first date ever with Higgins. The first
thing I heard when I arrived was Sammie screaming....

"Mommy what am I gonna wear? What if Higgie doesn't like me? What can I do? I don't know how to dance!!"

You get the picture right? So my job tomorrow night is to keep
Sammie Jean in line and make sure she behaves herself because we all know what a mischief maker she is.

.Here is Higgins if you haven't met him yet.....

Sammie Jean says
"be still my heart"

Of course, Amber will be going with me to the dance to help
me watch Sammie Jean, and maybe seek off by ourselves (don't tell our Mommies0 and of course my beloved sister,
Mona will be going with Max and they will chaperone Higgins and Sammie Jean when Amber and I go off by ourselves.

Things have been rough around the DaWeenie's house this year. Amber and Max's sister, Shelley, was admitted back to the hospital today and the POTP is needed big time. Ms Linda will be updating Shelley's condition as soon as she knows something. The Mommies didn't what Amber and Max to miss
out on the Blogville NYE party so they are gonna stay at our house until after the dance and that way I can visit with my girl and Max and Mona can do a little sparking of their own.

Prissy is going with a special somebody this year. I know you all know this dude.

Frankie, Ernie and Sarge with Abby, Roxie and Prissy are having a triple date tomorrow night.

So see you all tomorrow night.

Later......Angel Weenie

Merry Christmas

Sammie Jean

Prissy

Angel Weenie

Dearest furiends,

We are very sad to say that there will be no
Blogville's 2015 Christmas

 today.
 Our Smiley Box creation bombed
out and stupid customer support at
Smilebox is closed today and their online
tool isn't worth "didaly squat" whatever that means.
Mommy is very upset that she couldn't deliver as
promised but she isn't giving up and will
hopefully still be able to load it before the
holidays are over.

The Mommy told us last night that we couldn't go
to Aunt Pam and Uncle Sonny's for Christmas
Eve cause Aunt Pam don't want dogs in her house so we stayed home and waited for Santa Paws alone but she promised us a special treat for our Christmas dinner.

Their are only 2 little peeps in our family
now and those boys hit the jackpot.

We gotta explain what happened and why them
boys are in towels and not britches. They was
playing football outside (in 80 degree weather)
when they slide in dog poop. We think it is poetic
justice since we wasn't allowed to go. All we gots to say
it must have been some mighty big dogs for all
the poop they drug in the house.

The Mommy didn't lie. We're getting ready to chow down
on our special treat so see ya later.

Mona, Prissy, Sammie Jean and
Angel Weenie too!!
