Hey everybuddy! This is me, Mona, doing the blog for my mommy so I can tell you about my stay at Winter Camp – with my sisters plus Bentley, Spencer, Papillon, Zoey and Simone and their foster sister, Vanna Gogh. We got invited here to play and help keep the yard safe from squirrels while our Mommy had a test and got some rest. We miss her so much and can’t wait to go home tomorrow on Monday.
While we were here at camp, I have been getting some very special attention from Bentley. He likes to sleep all cuddled up to me. With my boyfriend so far away in Florida, . . . well, heck, a girl would be a fool to turn down attention from such a fine looking fellow.
At least I keep it at a dignified level. You should see my sister Sammie Jean chasing that big old brindle jock, Papillon, around the house and all over the yard! She scraps with him too – I’ve seen the two of them holding the same toy at the same time and playing tug-o-war. When I go home tomorrow, I’m telling Mommy on both of them.
Yesterday, my Mommy talked to me on Pam’s cell phone. She said she had gotten calls and emails from her friends and said it makes her feel good to know that her friends care so much for her. Sometimes it is easier to put the details in an email than a phone call.
We really like to stay with Tim and Pam because they have a really big yard full of trees and gardens and pathways, and a really big sofa that fits all of us together, and they don’t waste time cleaning their house. We watch old movies and snuggle in lots of blankets on the sofa. Yesterday, some tangerines fell out of their tree, and Spencer showed us how to rip the skin open and slurp the juice out of them. Then today, Zoey showed us how to snatch one of Pam’s ornamental kales out of the ground and we all had fun tearing the kale apart and eating it. Pam said greens were good for dogs, but if we did it again, she would lose her cheese. I hope she does too, because us dogs would like some cheese with our kale and tangerines.
I will post more soon so all our friends will know how we are doing. We girls are going home tomorrow and we just can’t wait to see our wonderful Mommy!
The Mommy here......
I would like to thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers.
Reading all your comments has keep me going but I just
don't feel up to blogging right now.
I am very excited about the girls coming home tomorrow.
I am taking it one day at a time and will be having a liver biopsy
soon and then will have to decide about chemo or not.
Love ... Sarah, the Mommy

Please pass on our love and tell the girls to be good!
Sounds like you gals have a nice place to go when your Mommy needs some help but it will be great to get back home.
Sarah, we are looking forward to hearing you are all home together. It has to be hard to be apart, but it is sure nice the dogs had someone to take them in temporarily. Feel better!
Sarah, please take time to get well. Glad to see your girls are in very good hands.
Take a great care,
Momo & Pinot xo
I'm happy you kids visited my blog. Now we are new friends and followers and we can add our prayers and happy healing thoughts to the rest.... We have a good feeling about your mom and we know she will be strong and brave and will be feeling better soon. We will also say prayers for her doctors to be smart and wise and caring throughout her treatment. Hang in there, friends.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
