                              Happy Birthday Mommy


We're not supposed to tell anybody, BUT today is our Mommy's 67th birthday. Actually she says she's only 60, because when she turned 60, she started counting backwards, BUT we know better.
 

 How do we know you ask? The above picture has Mommy's
"OLD FART AUTOGRAPH HOUND" that the ladies of  DROH and ATDR gave her on her 60th birthday. Everybody signed it.
Dang them ladies have been around for 10 years, ever since 2005
when I, Mona, was adopted.  Next to the hound is one of Mommy's prized possessions. It is a pencil portrait of her and Angel Samantha. It was done in 2003, at the Christus Health Awards Banquet. In 2003, Mommy was celebrating her 35th year of service for Christus Health. We gotta tell ya this!! It was kinda funny as Aunt Pam tells it. She went with Mommy to the banquet and they were drawing pictures of the awars winners. Mommy didn't want have one done but Aunt Pam told the artist......
"Just draw it with her holding her dog Samantha and she'll do it."  Enough said!!

So today Aunt Pam and Uncle Sonny are taking her to the Lasagna House for dinner after work cause she wants a stuffed artichoke and some escargot. Where's the beef?

 

 on the inside it said "Did someone say cake?"

 When Mommy got home from work yesterday, there was a
card from Angel Weenie's girl, Amber, and her pack. It made Mommy's day and of course Mommy had to post it with Angel Weenie's picture.

 Now for the big  adoption announcement!!!
There were a total of 64 doxies adopted duringthe month of December 2014. Adoption post coming this weekend, we hope.
