Time to put your thinking caps on for a chance to win a

Here is the question........

A man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of a room. There was no furniture or ladder in the room. All that was found in the room was a suicide note and a puddle of water.
How did the he hang himself?

There you have it. Simple, right? NOT!!

The first commenter to answer correctly will win $50 for their favorite charity/rescue.   Deadline will be 4-5-14 and winner announced on 4-6-14. Please guess as many times as you wish.

GOOD LUCK !!

PS......Our Mommy heard this for the first time when she was a sweet young thing and that was like 100 years ago and she never got it right.

He hung himself by standing on a block of ice. When the ice melted, forming the water, he died.

I have a couple of other theories besides Batman and Superman flying up there and hanging themselves (they must have had wet capes or costumes to explain the water on the floor part)

Anyway, here are the other theories...

1) A Mermaid lured a Merman in the room and she hung him and then she left. That explains all the water on the floor.

2) A Ninja squirrel hung him with a rubber hose, and the hose dripped out water all over the floor.

3) The Butler did it! (The Butler was dripping wet from his bath just before he hung the guy.)

Here is our final guess ... It was the Butler who hung himself with a Rubber Hose!

Hey Mona!
Wow, this is a fun one! My pack loves these puzzlers. I kinda agree about the block of ice, but maybe I just have that stuff on the brain since it's been such a bad Winter. BOL Maybe it was the Butler with a water hose?!? Hmmmmm

Ok we lied. We thought of a really pawsome theory. A man strapped 87 wet sponges to his body. He looped a rope up to the ceiling and tied the other end to himself. It was like a bunji chord kinda rope so it had strong tension. Since he had all the sponges with the water, it weighed really heavy on him so he still had his feet on the floor. He probably weighed 870 pounds carrying all that water in the sponges. So, as the man started squeezing out the water from all of the 87 sponges one by one, the puddle on the floor got bigger and bigger. And with each sponge getting squeezed out, the bunji rope kept wanting to pull the man higher and higher in the air since he kept weighing lighter and lighter with each sponge getting squeezed out. Eventually after the 87 sponges were squeezed out, the man was high in the air and stiff as a board because he no longer weighed heavy enough to keep his feet planted on the floor. The tension in the bungie rope pulled him in the air.
