I suppose the pleasure of country life lies really in the eternally renewed evidences of the determination to live.
 ~Vita Sackville-West, Country Notes

Yesterday we headed out on a quick road trip to the country to visit Dachsies Rule. Sweet Roxie has been sick and Mommy wanted to see for herself that she was OK. First off let me say that you will notice that I, Prissy, had a very bad haircut a week or so ago. Ms Lilly let somebody else trim me but I guess she thought Ms Lilly said Razor Cut me. In any case, I am a long haired dachshund not a cocker spaniel. Let me say, I like cocker spaniels BUT I am not a cocker.

Ok....now that is out of the way, let's get back to the country.

Ready to go.

Are we there yet?

Here are few pictures in case you forgot what our friends looked like.

The main attraction in the country, or so Mona says, is the cowdogs. Well I'd much rather have a cooked cow than mess with a live one.....just sayin.

So what if I was a little scared? I'm a girl and girls do get scared sometimes.

Here's a few extra shots of us in the country.

That's Maybelle, a dachshund wannabe in the right hand corner.

Guess I'm just a city girl at heart.

PS........what do you think? Dachshund or Cocker Spaniel?
