Prayer Request

  Mona here......

Tuesday Aunt Judy sent this picture to Mommy and her heart sunk.

George

Anybody who has ever followed this blog knows that George is Mommy's heart because he looks just like my brother Toby and always makes sure Mommy gets lots of loving whenever we visit Aunt Judy's pack.

It is a tumor but the Vet is optimistic that's it's benign.  Having said that he does feel its urgent to get it taken off in case it grows more. The problem with getting a wide margin is that there isn't enough room on a leg to do that (in case it is malignant), then he would need to do radiation.

He is having surgery today and then the waiting game starts while we wait on the results. Mommy's heart  is broken. Everything she went through waiting for my results have been flooding her mind.

Please keep George in your prayers.

Oh, leg bumpies are nasty because it's so hard to remove them! There's not a lot of skin there to work with. But at least they caught it early, so I KNOW George will be just a-okay!

My mom had to have a lump removed from her beagle a few years ago. It was scary, because it grew so quickly! Luckily, it was benign. I hope George's is too, and that he recovers quickly.
