Hi there,

Well it's been a week since we got back home and things are back to normal. Mommy made it through the whole week at work and it wasn't too bad. She got used to taking naps during the day while she was home so about 2:00 pm everyday she can't hardly keep her eyes open. 

Mommy gots lots of cards while she was out sick but Aunt Paula, Mindy and Olee's Mom, sent her the best card of all.
Let me show you why.

OMD.......talk about smiling. It's my brothers, Siskle and Peanut. They had to leave us in 2006, it's a long story and Mommy would just start crying if she thinks about that painful time, but we still love them.

Siskle was adopted again right after they went back to DROH and we saw him at the Halloweiner that year. Siskle is a wirehair, like me. His new family had a houseful of wirehairs and Siskle and one of the other boys didn't like each other, so he went back to DROH. Then he got adopted again and we hadn't heard anything about him in 6 years. Mommy was very sad about that.

2012

Peanut was adopted by Uncle Ron and got renamed Peadaddy. You've seen many pictures of Uncle Ron and Peanut on my blog through the years and we got to see him whenever we wanted while they still lived in Houston. Now we talk to Uncle Ron a lot and he sends us pictures and videos of my Peanut all the time.
 

OK ... moving on........

Today has been a glorious sun shiny day, so me and Weenie have been playing outside. I've been roaching and barking at the new dog next door. Weenie has been sniffing around, playing under the bushes and getting in big trouble.

We got taken to the groomer yesterday. Remember Mommy said I looked like a Brillo Pad. Is it my fault I was 6 weeks late getting my trim?

Weenie is so lucky. He just had to take a bath but he is kinda cute, don't ya think?

Do you know what Mommy's favorite dog is? Of course you do........Doxies. When Mommy lost Samantha, she said she never wanted another red smooth haired dachshund because it would remind her too much of Angel Samantha . She never even knew there was such a thing as a wirehair. So she got me. Well now she loves wirehairs best, sorry Weenie. Lot's of my friends are wirehairs too.

Oh yes.............Mommy always gets us new stuffies whenever we go to the groomer and these are the ones she bought us yesterday. May they RIP. They didn't last long.
