"I looked for my God;
my God eluded me.
I looked for my soul;
my soul I could not see.
I looked for a friend and I found all three."
Dearest Blogville,
The Fearless Five's Memory Quilt is here. Sandra with her Mom Patricia and I there opened the box today. It is more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. There were many tears but much joy in seeing how all of Blogville came together to make this happen. I am only posting a few pictures tonight. Sandra will be posting as well but with many more pictures.
My plan is to do a Smilebox for Sandra with pictures of the quilt pieces and all of Blogville that sent them but it will my biggest prsentation ever, there were 60 in Blogville that contributed to the making it so special, so it will take time to give it the justice it deserves. I will also send a copy to anyone that would like one. Just let me know, after it is posted on Mona's blog. This is just one small corner of it....of course it's the side that has the material Mona sent from her and Tiger's harnesses.
All I can say is God Bless to all in Blogville for being who you are and caring so much.
Weenie Update:
This picture was taken yesterday of my little fella when I took him for his 2 week followup bloodwork for his muscle infection. Good News!! His test results was back to nomal. No more medicine Yahoo!!
It's that time again. Reporting the ATDR adoptions for last month. We had 19 again for the second month in a row. One of the most exciting things was that a pregnate dachshund, named Georgette, who delivered the day after she was rescued was adopted as was 3 of her five pups.

Georgette is our sweet little Mom that gave birth 24 hours out of the shelter - to five precious black and tan babies! We have been getting to know her now that she is away from her pups a little more, but she is still recovering from Motherhood!
She is not quite house trained; gets along with other dogs; shows some interest in cats but nothing I am worried about; very friendly with everyone, has not been around kids but doubtful she would be a problem.
She was a great Mom and has a wonderful sweet disposition. Stay tuned as we learn more about her personality and temperment!
Adopted 2/25/12 DAISY BELLE
Adopted 2/27/12 BUTER BEAN.....picture not available

I would have to second Agnes' reaction to the quilt. I think it is probably because of our close connection to it. I am also smiling and so happy that Sandra and her family now have a physical reminder of how much blogville loves them all.

P.S. So glad to hear Weenie is doing better.
Oops! I miss read the first comment and thought it was from Agnes and not Amber Da Weenie. I am sure Agnes will have the same reaction. I hope her computer is fixed so she can see these.
