Mommy here.....

We aren't exactly in winter anymore but we have to finish our snow posts. It has been very difficult, and in some cases impossible to find snow dogs with the right first name. I went hunting for a "W" and didn't find any snow pictures until I found my model, Wimsey. Now this is one dog that seems to love snow as much as Khyra, the OP Pack and all the other sibes & huskies we know. He hasn't blogged since February but still said Mona could use his snow pictures. We could hardly stop reading his blog last night. You have to go over to his blog and see his post called "Wimsey's Zodiac the year of the.... and things to eat watching the Superbowl. It's the last post on his blog. I hope he posts again soon!!

Glory Alleluia, she's finally finished!! It's me and Weenie's turn now. It seems like forever since we last blogged. It really isn't are fault. You know Mommy got bit by some nasty bug and had to go into the hospital and we didn't see her for two whole weeks. Well she got over that and then on April 5th, she went and got her foot caught in the wires under her desk and when she got up she fell and went down on her left knee.....Yep the same one that needs a knee replacement. That is still causing lots of problems but Mommy said we gotta keep going so here we are.

"Did you miss us? Cause we sure missed you!!!"

Remember 5 months ago when I introduced you all to my baby girl?

Koya's Glamour shot.

I told Mommy we had to get Koya a Easter stuffy, being that this is her very first ever Easter. So we got her a Easter duck like the one Mommy got me last year.

"Sissy, is that you sticking your tongue out at Mommy?"
"No, Weenie! I would never do that!! Besides that was last year."
"Ya look kinda cute with you hair longer!!"

OMD!!! Look at this. Now that's what we call an Easter Basket. SJMC is having another fund raiser for the March of Dimes this year. This year it was for a
baby boy named MAXX so the drive this year was called March for Maxx. This is the basket Mommy's office put together and donated for the silent auction. The starting bid was gonna be $60.00.

Both of Maxx's parents work for SJMC and when he was born prematurely,
he was very sick and even though he is much improved he still hasn't gone
home.

"Wow, Mona do you think Mommy bid on it for us? Lookit at all those stuffies. We's could have a regular snowstorm with all that fluff."

"No way, it gots all kinds of bubbles and balls and kites and coloring books and crayons....all that stuff is for two legged boys and girls not doggies like us. Dang it!!"

"Does it got candy too?"

"Yep, and you know we don't get no chocolate."

"I saw some bubble gum, can we have some of that."

"Weenie!! Don't even let Mommy hear you say that. You wasn't here when my brothers and I got gum all in our furs."

Mommy here for just a second......the last bid was $110.00......to rich for my blood.
There were over 25 baskets to bid on and some to buy plus baked cookies and candies. We were very proud of our creation but there were so many lovely ones to bid on.

"Oh Weenie, it's gonna be so much fun. Mommy is gonna be home for 4 whole days and we got so much to do. The Willie FuFu's are coming to visit with all the baby FuFu's."

"Who are the Willie FuFu's Mona?"

Mr & Mrs Willie FuFu

and the seven little baby FuFu's

"But you gotta remember, Weenie, they is just to play with not eat!'

For those of you who were following my blog back in 2008, here are some pictures Mommy took of me and the FuFus when I was the bridesmaid on their wedding day on March 28th.

"What else we gonna do?"

"Nothing tomorrow, little fella. Mommy and Aunt Pam are gonna spend the day together like they have every year since 1996 when Aunt Frances died. On Saturday we're going to Aunt Judy's so Mommy can get her Georgie fix and we can play with her Dachsies and Mommy can give them their Easter gifts."

"Did you say gifts!!?? Do we get gifts too?"

"Of course we get gifts silly boy. But we gotta wait for ours until Easter Sunday after mass. We gotta praise the Lord for what he did for us."

"Then after that'?

"Mommy said we are going to have Easter Dinner with our 2 legged cousins, Lane and Blake and maybe if we're lucky we can have some BBQ!!!"

"Do we get to have an Easter Egg hunt?"

"Yep!! and we get to eat one and a cupcake too!!"

Mommy here..........

It's goning to be a very busy weekend. Now before Weenie asks another question.

Monday we sleep in and I might not get out of my PJ's all day.

Happy Easter.........love & {{{huggies}}}.......Mona, Weenie and the Mommy too!!

I've missed you all so much! Not because you haven't blogged but because I haven't been able to visit in awhile. School has kept me so busy.

Your mom's employer looks like a fun place to work. It seems like they're always hosting some kind of fundraiser.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom being in the hospital and then falling on her knee. I hope she's doing better now. I know you're doing all you can to take care of her.

Happy Easter!

I think I can count. I can certainly tell the time and now when it is BREAKFAST TIME and GOING OUT TIME. Oops sorry for barking loudly there.

Mona and Weenie, I love the conversations the two of you have with each other.

YES, we missed you very much!!!

I hope your Mommy's knee is alright. Falling down on it was the last thing she needed. I hope she is feeling well.

Love, Cupcake

We have missed you, Mona and Weenie, and Mom too. We hope all your bad times are behind you and that you have a wonderful and enjoyable Easter weekend. Happy Easter from all of us! Guess we have to give up on snow for now - but it will be back in a few months:)
