Ok, we're back. Sunday was so much fun. In our last post ya got to see a bunch of the different dachsies that was at the gathering. Mommy only took about 100 pictures so it was kinda hard picking out which ones to post. Brooklyn was the only one of Aunt Judy's kids that went with us but don't worry Mommy took lots of pictures of her boy Georgie, Bandit and Harley before we went because, of course Mommy had to get her Georgie fix. We also took bunches of pictures of Roxie, a black and tan smooth hair, who is moving back to Florida with her Mom, Rhonda, & her Daddy, Ed and what is a visit to Aunt Judy without pictures of the Garden Of Eden in her backyard. Those pictures will be in our next post.

Besides the fact that Mommy wanted to show off my brother Weenie, there was a reason for everybody being together. DROH's 2011 Spring Fling is coming up on April 17th and they got together to get the invitations ready. The theme this year is "Field of Dachshunds".

Here is the front of the invitation.

and here is the back.

(maybe if you click on it you ya read it better)

Have you ever seen such a goofy looking bunch of doxie lovers?

(notice ME in the right corner)
There always a lot of kissing and hugging going on at these affairs, a girl has to keep practicing her trade ya know. My next assignment is going to be at the Houston Pet Expo on April 16th. I will be ready!! Ya have to know how to work those lips and keep them moist.
Here I am trying to give a kiss to Roxie and her Mom, Rhonda.

Remember recently I introduced ya to Brenda's new little wire hair, Peanut Butter? Well he's got a new name. It's Munch. Brenda loves a show called House and there is a character named Elliott and since she already named one of her dogs Elliott she renamed Peanut Butter Munch. He wanted to kiss on me too and I let him because he kinda looks like my Tiger.
(that's Weenie at the bottom of the picture)

These last pictures were taken of Brooklyn, Munch, a couple of other dogs and Me playing ball or as Mommy & Aunt Judy calls it "Getting the ball away from Brooklyn and Mona". Well let me tell you, it's now called ""Getting the ball away from Brooklyn, Mona and Munch. Boy of Boy!! That Munch is as bad as Brooklyn and Me.

Brooklyn and Munch had a Tug of War over this little red toy. They drug each other from one side of the room to the other. They finally gave up. There was no clear winner.

Weenie kinda wandered around on his own and checked everybody out and then found a place outside and napped in the sun. Life is good!!

That's all for tonight.

Love & {{{huggies}}}....Mona & Weenie

Wow! What a swell bunch of photos. We're gonna show your bloggie to our friend Carla when we get home to Idaho cuz she is owned by a wiener dog. She's old though so isn't allowed to play with us...her mommy thinks we're too rough I think. Phooey.

Hey Mona! So good to hear from you. Of course we still friends, we will always be friends.

It was SOOOO much fun meeting Frankie in the furs. He was so much smaller that I thought he would be but super cute. His mom and dad were so nice as well.

Those invites for the Spring Fling are cute. Mom's rescue is getting prepared for their Weim and Cheese event in June.
