NO A/C -- TOO HOT!!

My A/C busted yesterday in 100 degree heat while Mommy was off gallivanting with Aunt Judy and some friends. It was 85 in the house when Mommy got home at 6 pm and I was panting and had drank all the water in my dish. We called ARS and they sent somebody over. They couldn't fix it. It needs a part for the unit outside so me and Mommy ran away from home. We spent the night at Aunt Tina and Chris's and Mommy stayed home from work. ARS is going to be at my house at 11:30 am so Mommy is gonna leave me with Aunt Chris while she goes to meet them. I hope we will be back home tonight. Mommy took bunches of pictures of Shelby & my Tiger  Saturday to share but that has to wait until we get back home.

GOD BLESS everyone for making Shelby's Auction a success.

Oh no Mona that is awful! We had our AC go out earlier this year and boy it was just too hot - and it wasn't even as hot outside! We are very glad you have somewhere to stay until it is fixed - which we hope will happen today! We are crossing our fingers and paws here that they fix it quickly (and that it won't cost too much money - that was our mom's other fear when ours broke - us getting too hot and it costing a lot!)

Ooh. That sounds TERRIBLE! Maybe you could come visit us - it is 45 degrees at the moment, and isn't supposed to get above 60 today (if that). And it is all dark and stormy. And we have full water-dishes, just in case! I hope your A/C gets fixed soon (or that it cools off for you - or both!)!

We nearly fell off the sofa (yesh, we can get up there) when we say how many green papers that Shelby's auction brought in to help her and the babies. We knew all along that dog people are the best people in the whole, wide world (kitties have good peoples, too).

We are confident now that Miss Shelby and her babies will get all of the dog-tor attention that they need now - and in the future, too!

BTW, our momma couldn't live without her AC and we live at the top of Michigan which is ice cold in the winter! Been a really and really hot summer.

That's bad news. We have been waiting all summer for ours to blow up because it's old but so far it's hanging in there. We hope you can get yours fixed soon! Love, Debbie and Holly

I read on another site that the auction raised over $1200. Congrats!

I hope you get your A/C fixed super soon if it's not already. I had that same problem a couple of years ago and had to wait several days for a part to come in because it was on backorder. It was horrendous! I had to set up fans in the house to try to cool things down. They just don't work the same. I'm glad you had somewhere else to go in the meantime.
