"The best thing to give your enemy is forgiveness;
to an opponent, tolerance;
to a friend, your heart;
to your child, a good example;
to a father, deference;
to your mother,
conduct that will make her proud of you;
to yourself, respect; to all men charity."
Who do you see in the above picture? Me, Mona Mi Ricca. My name is not Frankie. As much as I love my friends, Frankie Furter, Frankie Mae and Frankie over at Twink's blog, Mommy should not be calling me Frankie. Why is she calling me Frankie, you might ask. Well I'll tell you why! Frankie as in Frankenstein!! How rude. Mommy.
Finally a little freedom! Mommy didn't let me go outside until Saturday cause she was scared I might bust my stitches out. I've been a good girl and haven't been scratching them, maybe a little lick now and then. Dr Briles told Mommy it wasn't unusual to have a dog lick on them but if I started scratching, then he would give her a cone for me. I don't want to wear one of them things so she's been watching me like a hawk. I have to say it was wonderful having Mommy home with me for 4 whole days. Saturday, I got to go outside,sniffed around the yard and chased the birds away from the bird fountain but every time I tried to roach, Mommy hollered at me, so so much for that. Yesterday it rained so I didn't get to go outside but we took at bunch of naps and cuddling with Mommy is the best gift I could have given her for Mother's Day or so she said.
I just couldn't stop myself. I had to ROACH!! GUESS WHAT? Mommy didn't stop me! She called Dr Briles from work today and he told her it was OK. "Did I tell ya that I love Dr Briles?"
Remember my friends, Smokey and Brownie? Well my Mommy gives them a treat every afternoon but she hadn't given them one since I had my surgery. Well that just wasn't right so today Mommy gave each of them one of my Snausages. They are such good boys. Smokey is growing like a weed. Just thought you'd like to see a current picture of my pettie friends.
It was so much fun roaching today. Mommy is still on pens and needles and every time the phone rang at work she jumped. Still waiting for the results on the tumor is killing Mommy.
