QUOTE OF THE DAY: "If your dog is fat, you are not getting enough exercise."

Hi friends,

Is everybody ready to celebrate Turkey Day tomorrow? I sure am!! That's means I get to have turkey without having to steal it off somebody's plate.....come on you know we have all done it. Kinda takes the fun out of it when they just give it to you. This afternoon around 2pm, I was sitting on my chair in front of the patio door, when I got the shock of my was Mommy home in the middle of the day. "Mona sits in the same spot most of the day, watching for trespassers and squirrels so you should have seen the look on her face when she saw me".

Tomorrow, Mommy and I are going to Aunt Tina and Chris's for dinner and I get to spend time playing with my non dachshund friends, Mr Grins, Gordo and Baby Girl. Mommy is not very happy with blogger right about now, and has been for several weeks. It is just so hard to load pictures and for sure trying to load a video. But I told Mommy to remember the things we have to be thankful for so enough about that. So since tomorrow's post will be devoted to my adoption story, we want to share some more of the things we are thankful for.

Here are a few things I am thankful for......

I am thankful that I am not this turkey.....

because tomorrow I would look like this!!

I am thankful that I have Mommy home with me for 4 whole days.
I am thankful that I get to eat turkey tomorrow.
I am thankful that I get to spend the day with some doggie friends.
I am thankful that I have my Mommy and she loves me best.
I am thankful that DROH found me.

Here are things Mommy is thankful for.

Besides having me, she is thankful not to have to cook tomorrow and just have to buy a strawbverry cheescake!!

Come on back tomorrow to read my adoption story. Mommy said, if blogger cooperates tomorrow, she is gonna post a picture from each Thanksgiving we have been together.

Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all........Mona & Mommy too!!
