Hi friends,
Mommy came home with a big frown on her face after work tonight. We was gonna spend all weekend napping so Mommy could rest up after last weekend. I was looking forward to cuddling with Mommy, but NO. Everybody in her unit has to work all weekend. So tonight we gotta get to bed early. I told Mommy couldn't we do another post about the dog show but she said had something she had to watch on TV tonight and we wouldn't have time. What is more important than posting, I ask you? A western called Tribute To A Bad Man with James Cagney.
It's not as if she hasn't seen if before, but ya gotta understand the Mommy. She never misses a western, that she liked, not even for me. Whatever!!
The movie is over and we gotta get to bed but Mommy saw this article in the Best Friends magazine we get and it made a big impression on her, so that will be our post for tonight.
Mommy loves the flowers in the picture above and since today's spotlight flower and doggie is Matilda, here is the flower pic with Matilda's fluffy tail.

What an interesting article. I don't know why, but my mom suddenly became fascinated in homeopathic supportive treatment as used in canine cancer therapies. Lots of the stuff she studied was about this hospice-type care. (Isn't my mom an odd bird?)
And we know that you dedicated rescue folks are most often the ones that take on this type of care for animals that probably will never be adopted due to their condition. We admire you so much!

Interesting article. I've had to let several of my pets go since they were in too much pain to die on their own. Patachou's was the hardest to do, but it wasn't bad for him since he loved going to the vets. So he left happy.
