QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"When a dog goes to the bathroom he is also marking his territory - now that's efficiency." -- Melly Nau
Today started out awful. It's been raining for 2 whole days now and we almost didn't make it to the invitation stuffing party. First there was a big accident and the police made everybody get off the freeway into downtown Houston. I guess nobody told them there was a St Patrick's Day Parade and most of the streets were closed. With all that rain coming down, the streets closed and drivers honking horns at each other, the Mommy was about to give up and go home. If Mommy didn't work downtown, we might have given up but thank goodness she knows all the shortcuts and we were only a little late. There is NO way the Mommy would miss being around all the doggies that were going to be there. Guess what? Of all the doggies there today, only 1 was a boy!
Here is one the invitations.

Looks speak louder than words, so here are some random shots Mommy and the other ladies took today.
The ladies did work, but there was lots of laughing going and as you can see some one of us doggies, Audrey, helped.
Let me introduce you to some of the doggies that were there. The ones that would stand still long enough to take a picture that is.
FRODO.....the only boy
AUDREY
TOOTSIE....4 months old
SOPHIE
BABY....an older owner surrender because to her Mom has Alzheimer's.
VIVIANNA
and of course ME
There was lots of talking, laughing, eating and drinking margaritas going on but they did manage to get the invitations done and Mommy took a bunch of videos of us in action. She picked the best 3 to post. Blogger was actually cooperating for a change.
All of the doggies except me are either our hostess's, Susanna, own dogs or fosters.
This video was of everybody eating....Audrey has to eat behind a gate because she wolfs hers down whole and then tries to eat everybody else. She also looked like she had been drinking!! I think she is weird, but Susanna said she does what you are gonna see at every meal.
This is what happened whenever somebody new came to the door.
Frodos tail in action.
Did anybody ever guess how many doggies were there?
Love, kisses and {{{huggies}}} to all...........Mona

Mom just loves Audrey. I don't know how she eats after spinning around a billion times like that! Glad you finally made it after all the traffic drama.

Hello!
We don't know how we missed this post yesterday!
OMD OMD OMD... so many Doxies! AND long haired doxies too!!
Has the sun come out for you yet? It just came out for us now.
We saw little Baby in action in your videos. Has she found a forever home? Any idea of how she would do with us big dogs? How is her health? Drop us an email when you have a chance.
Our dad has already let us know that he really doesn't want another doxie because none could replace Zoe, but sometimes mom can have her way.
Lots of Luv & Kisses
Addie and Lucie
We just think Tootsie is so cute - she looks a lot like Lorenza. And Frodo's tail - what a waggly boy he is.
Great post, thanks for sharing - hope a lot of the pups find homes.
