May the luck of the Irish and a pot of gold be at the end of the rainbow for every doggie, kitty, hammie, Mommy, Daddy and everybody today and always!!!

Today is special. Not just because St Paddy's chased all the snakes out of his country on this date but also today is one of my special little friend's birthday. She is 3 years old day!! If she was here in Texas, Mommy would have made her a hamburger meat cake with mash potato icing and little peanut butter bones but since she isn't, here's a cake for her to droll over.

Didn't you know that everybody is IRISH on St Patrick's Day? Mommy is 100% Italian. But when Mommy was a little girl from birth until she was 15 years old she had flaming red hair and didn't look Italian at all. When she was 8 years old her Daddy sent her into a ice-house to buy some bread, on St Patrick's Day, while he waited outside drinking a beer with all the other men standing around. One man saw her and said "Ah...a true Irish lass". Her Daddy was not amused, not that he had anything against the Irish but she was not IRISH and he made sure those men all knew it!! hee hee.....Mommy has never forgotten that but now she's got brown hair with lots of grey...hee hee.
