"A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself." ---- Josh Billings
Hi everybody,
Mona's Mommy, Sarah, here. Mona won't be home until tomorrow evening and it so quite & lonely in this big house without my little one. Mona was right, I'm sure I missed her more than she did me. So as soon as I got home, I decided to upload some pictures I took on the trip. First off let me say that the bridal part was a huge success and my godchild was very happy we had come all the way from Houston to Arlington just for it. It was a surprise so she and mother were so excited and we did get to see the whole family BUT !!, the most excitement was being able to meet Addie, Lucie and their sweet Mommy, Staci for the very first time ever in person. I was a little scared that Addie and Luci won't like me but was thrilled when they were so sweet and loving. The only thing that would have made the visit even for special, besides having somewhere we could visit more since the hotel was not pet friendly, would have been if angel Zoe and my precious Mona could have been there with us. I would loved to have met Zoe before she left for the bridge and I think Mona would have loved the girls.
I had never realized how beautiful Addie's coat is. Her hair is so wavy and the black across her back is gorgeous.
Of course, there always has to be flowers in any post I do, so before we go on.....please, does anybody know what kind of tree this might be?
It was in front of our hotel. My sister thinks its a red bud tree only white. I figured if anybody would know it would be Maggie and Mitch's Mommy.
Since we had nowhere to visit except the hotel parking lot and I am as old as dirt, I sat with the girls or leaned on the car during our visits. The following are a few random shot of the girls. Both the girls wear seat belts in the car. Addie rides in the back sit and Luci in the front. Luci managed to wiggle her way into the back still tied in her seat belt. She was adorable.
This last series of pictures are of Luci showing the proper way to give a stranger a hug. She is one fluffy little girl and she felt so soft and cuddly just like my Mona but aa three months she os quite a big bigger.
We were only able to visit for a very short time but the memory of that visit will last forever and the next time, I will find a pet friendly hotel and bring Mona and we can stay a few days and play as long as we like. I have decided not to wash the clothes I wore yesterday until Mona gets back home. I want her to be able to smell Addie and Lucie since she couldn't go on this trip. Also, look what the girls gave me to give Mona!!!
A bag of goodies and stuffies
I'll let Mona show you whats in it tomorrow. I also took a really cute video and tried to load it but blogger wasn't cooperating tonight so after 2 hours of trying to upload it admitted defet & I gave up. I will try again tomorrow.
Well its time to call it a night. That big old bed will be so empty and lonely tonight without Mona. Oh well, I guess I'll just hug a pillow tonight instead
Love.....The Mommy

What sweet pictures of Addie and Lucie! You are so lucky that you got to meet them! We wish we could too! Mom says she has no idea what kind of tree that is but it's absolutely gorgeous! Maybe someone who lives down south would know!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Mona, not only your mommy misses you, we do too...
but thanks to the mommy for uploading these fun pictures ^_^ so nice to meet up with DWB pals
Awww those pictures turned out soooo cute.
(Except the one with our mom in it, she does not photograph well at all! LOL)
We can't wait to see the rest of the pix and video!
We LOVE the "hug" pix!! Just adorable!
Lots of Luv & Kisses
Addie and Lucie
P.S. The above deleted comment was our mom's error. She was signed on as another account.
What a great visit you had! Thanks for the fun pictures of the girls. We can't help you with the tree. Aren't trees meant to bite or pee on?
Tinkerbell, Oscar and Tucker
Ohhh love all the pics, and the girls are just adorable!! The Hug pics are the best by far!!!
The tree is a Bradford Pear Tree.
All of my friends at work from this area new the tree right away.
Lots of Luv & Kisses
Addie and Lucie
What a lucky lady woo were to meet Addie and Lucie and Staci too. Our Mom is so jealous - she is totally in love with those two pups. You are right, Addie's coat does look gorgeous and Lucie is just such a little doll.
Woo will have to give Mona extra lovies once she is home - and she will be so excited to see her pressies.
Tail wags, the OP Pack
Oh, the Mommy went all the way to Arlington to see Addie and Lucie?
I'm jelly, I live 40 miles from Arlington, I could be there in 40 minutes!!!
The white flower tree is Bradford fruitless pear, it's on peak blossom in March for about two weeks. I have 2 trees in the backyard, hehe!
