QUOTE OF THE DAY: "The most wasted of all days is one without laughter."
E E Cummings

Hi dear friends,

Tonight, there will a short video of me and some pictures the Mommy took of me tonight being nosey in the back yard, after my "W" selection. I told the Mommy that I didn't want all of you to forget what I looked like, since it seems like forever since we posted about me. When we started my feature, we didn't know how hard it would be to pick dogs and cats we didn't already know. We have so many doggie friends now that there is never enough time to visit everybody everyday and that makes me very sad, but we do think of you everyday and love all of you and your Mommies, Daddies and human relatives.

Strings of Friendship "W"

So here goes my choice but it's not a doggie tonight.....it's a kitty. I already knew this kitty from when he let me use one of his pictures in my "Who belongs to who" contest which was won by every body's good friend Lorenza.
WITTY KITTY from unknown

chewing on a toy--look at those sharp teeth

almost asleep

with a big grin.

Witty Kitty is the leader of ONE OF THE PACK or so he claims to be. The Mommy found out that they had their fist post on January 14th, 2008. Now that day is special to me and the Mommy cause she turned 60 years old on that day. AH to be young again!! So that means they just recently had their one year of blogging come to an end. Back to Witty Kitty's who said on their first blog post "Why does everybody think it's strange to have a cat leading a pack of dogs down the street. Well, I'm obviously the leader of this pack." I wonder what Journey thinks about that since he is the only other boy in the pack.

So how can I have a post without introducing you to the rest of the pack.

JOURNEY aka Sluggo.

HEIDI aka the Lady of Leisure

ROSEMARY a rescue

and LOLA also a rescue

The Mommy has great admiration for the pack's parents because they are rescuers and have fostered doggies just like the Mommy has. The world needs more people involved in rescue and she gets so excited to meet them because there just aren't fosters enough for all the doggies and kitties that need to be fostered.....it is horrible to think of a homeless animal having to be coped up in a cage all day long. You can visit Witty Kitty at: http://forgetsitandstay.blogspot.com

This afternoon the Mommy got home before it got dark and played with me for awhile. She says I am a very nosey little girl. I have to disagree!! I just have to make sure that everything is where it's supposed to be in my backyard. There is so much noise out there. The Mommy said my head bobs sideways, back and forth and even backwards when she first lets me out. I say that is not true but she says she has proof that it's true.

Looking sideways.

Looking backwards

OK....so I'm nosey.

A silly Me pecking up at the Mommy

Happy to see the Mommy.

The Mommy said we gots to wait until Saturday to post the pictures of the dachshunds that got adopted in January cause last time she looked there were 16, yes 16, and that was only on the 28th, so maybe there could be some more.

Night, Night.........love, kisses & (((huggies))) to all.....Mona
