"All of the good things that have come to me have been through my dog." ---- Anonymous

Hi my friends,I am so excited.....I feel like dancing!! This weekend it just me and the Mommy!! I love my friends but sometimes I need some alone time with the Mommy. This weekend we are gonna stay close to home but the Mommy found out about a new park just down the road from our house so she said we might go check it out Sunday. It's not a dog park but dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and the Mommy said we could go there and walk around a little.

The Mommy got a recipe for a cake you make in the microwave from work the other day.....it's one of the Sharing e-mails they got once a week. My Aunt Judy heard about this cake and tried it once and she said it was delish!! Anyway if you haven't heard of this before you might want to give it a try. Since it's chocolate us doggies can't have any but I don't see any reason why it can't adapted to where we could eat it.

So, if some of the baking moms are reading this with their doggies, please help the Mommy come up with how to fix for US!!

This picture was taken yesterday, the same time the Mommy took my picture with my ears blowing in the wind. I like this one much better. For those of you who asked.....Yes, the music in the back ground of yesterday's video are my wind chimes. At last count with had 15 all around the patio. The Mommy loves being put to sleep to the sound of the wind chimes.

Here is the recipe.

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night.
NOTE: Aunt Judy said the first time she tried it, it was a little dry, so the second time around that she made it she pushed some chocolate chips in it while it was still warm.
You are going to print this out straight away, aren't you??
The Mommy says a cake without nuts is not her cup of tea. Silly woman...she could always drop some chopped pecans or almonds on top with her favorite "Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream".

These pictures came with the recipe. Fast forward to the finished product.

Yummy Yum!!
Love, kisses and huggies to all..........Mona
