SNOOPY

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"Histories are more full of examples of the fidelity of dogs than of friends."

--- Alexander Pope

Hi dear friends,

I know that all of you have come to see pictures of Snoopy, but I have to confess first---
I have been naughty again. The Mommy said that Santa Paws is very angry with me and there is an old saying something like this: "Have you been naughty or nice cause Santa Paws is watching you." This morning the Mommy went to the garage (detached) to get some stuff out of the car but she couldn't get the garage key to open the side door into the garage,
so she came back into the house to get the garage door opener. She got in and clicked the opener again to close the garage door when it happened. Well sometime the garage door doesn't go all
the way down, so is it my fault that the Mommy opened the side door just as the door stopped going down. All I saw was a wide opend space to run. It was very cold this morning and all the Mommy had on was her house shoes and a very thin housecoat. To make a long story short, the Mommy had to chase me all the way to the end of our street. Enough said......Santa Paws is skipping my house!!

Well here he is. I didn't get to meet him because the Mommy had some others things to do yesterday where I would not be welcomed. The first thing the Mommy thought, when she first saw him, was that he was one of the cutest and friendliest little guy she has ever meet. Not timid at all, the way you would think he would be. Kelly & her family kept him for 3 week so they must have worked with him a lot because he was very scared when they got him.
He is very sturdy, compact and wasn't coughing or anything like that, so there is a good chance he will be heart worm negative. We should know something in a few days.

And this is Aunt Judy's youngest son Bandit with Snoopy. The first thing Aunt Judy said was "Oh, I wish I could keep him." The Mommy hopes she will!!

Bandit (left) Snoopy (right)

The Mommy said, it felt funny for her to be at Aunt Judy's without me but it didn't stop her from having a HI HO time without me.

This picture is of George and Harley playing tug of war with a stuffie. Harley is very possessive of his toys and it is the first time Aunt Judy said that he has ever played with one of the other dogs with a toy.

This is George, the kiss stealer. He is always following the Mommy around and I wasn't there to stop him this time. The Mommy just loves his little brown nose.

George, Bandit and Harley.

There was a lot of kisses going on as you can see.

This is my Aunt Judy, her boys, Snoopy and Angie (Athena). The Mommies had to really work hard to get this shot of everybody, but it was worth it. Notice the toy Harley is chewing on? He finally joined the picture when Aunt Judy pulled out his toy. I gave it to him!!

I leave you with this last picture of the Mommy and Angie. This is my usual spot but I guess
I can share.....maybe Santa Paws won't pass me by if I'm NICE!!!

Love, kisses & huggies to all......Mona & the Mommy too!!

Mona... you must resist the urge to run out of the house when a door is open. You scare your mommy too much when you do that. And we don't want to see you get hurt by mistake, ok. So please be care and stay in the house.

Snoopy is sooo very sweet! We just know he is going to find a wonderful home soon!

Kisses
Addie

My Moomie is always afraid of getting caught outside in her nightgown, too, when me's don't want to come inside. They need to get some fur coats like we've got.

I'm thinking Santa must be a pretty kindhearted guy because he brings me stuff every year and you know me! It's hard for me to be good ALL the time!
