What kind of flowering bush is this?
Hi dear friends,
I am in big trouble and am being punished this evening.....but it wasn't my fault.....yes, it is your fault, Mona mi Ricca. When the Mommy says my full name.....I'm in trouble.
I really didn't mean to do it. really I didn't.
The Mommy had been drying towels when the doorbell rang. She took then out of the dryer and went to answer the door. The towels were just laying their in the laundry basket, nice and warm and toasty. They looked so inviting and were calling out to me, so I just had to pull some out and wallow around in them. All of a sudden I heard the Mommy coming and ran to the door & acted like nothing had happened. Then I heard "Mona mi Ricca" screamed at the top of the Mommy's lungs. I was busted.
The Mommy took pictures of my crime and made me listen, while she lectured me about me being such a bad girl. Was it my fault, that she didn't fold the towels instead of just dumping them in the laundry basket? I think not.
I listened, I really did! The Mommy told me to go outside, while she rewashed the towels.

If your mommy didn't run outside every two minutes to take pictures of the flowering bushes, you wouldn't have been so bored that you had to lay down on the clean laundry! We don't think you're guilty at all, Mona! Your mom owes you an apology!
Love ya lots,

Hi, Mona!
Yes, its your mom's fault! Too bad she made you stay there in the chair!
Kisses and hugs

Humans leave all this stuff out for us to play in and chew-- laundry, shoes, papers-- then they get upset. I don't understand them at all.

Poor Mona...who could resist all that freshly laundered towels?
Those flowers are a familiar sight over at my place. But LS doesn't know the name either. They are pretty, aren't they?
Oh poor Mona, its not your fault. It was the towel...they look too comfy to sleep on. Its their fault, so dont be sad.
slurpy licks,

Oh dear.. I hope you got out of trouble now.. I'm sure you're just trying to help

Hi Mona! Warm towels! Our humans should know that you just can't resist a warm towel!! I want one now!
Mom says she thinks those bushes are Crepe Myrtles. For sure that third from the bottom is a Crepe Myrtle.
How can mom blame you. Those towels were so warm and good smelling just calling to you.. You were framed..

Yeah, Our dad gets so mad when he finds little black hairs on the towels when he tries to wash his face! heeehee, I just blame it on Lilly.
Mom's says those flowers could possibly be crepe myrtles. We have them a lot in our neighborhood too and my gwamma has some of the dark pink ones in her yard
Okay first off we are trying to catch up on your posts. :) Warm towels are the best and your mom should know you would want to roll around in them. And did you find out what those bushes are because mom swears the pink one is like one in our yard. She says it looks like a barkless tree with these pink flowers on it and it's driving her crazy she doesn't know what it is.
