SAVING BABY TREE RATS

I got stuck out in the bad weather today and couldn't get home due to street flooding. When I finally did, this is what was waiting. Bandit started sniffing and they started crying. I grabbed him and Harley and got them inside. Raymond grabbed Brook. I didn't want a repeat of what happened at Thanksgiving.

Apparently this has happened several times today. Animal control should pick them up and get them to wild life rescue if you can't wait. If they are moving on their own you can keep them in a crate tonight and feed kitten formula or baby food. They can have apple or banana Gerber baby food. They do carry rabies so be careful not to let them bite you. The mom may come get them if left out but since not in a tree they are at risk of being hurt by another animal.

So so cute, are you taking them to wildlife rescue?

That's the plan but the moma is out there looking for them. Don't know what to do. I called wildlife before 4. They close at 4 but no one answered. They no longed have a nest.

Moma came and picked them up. Thank God!!
According to Judy, Raymond stayed in his man cave outside watching for the Mom. When she showed up, she picked then up one at a time the way a cat does kittens, it took 2 hours but all her babies were safe.
The end.
