PAX ALERT and INTERESTIN STUFFS

Our little man is sick.
Very sick. Mommy went on
a home visit this morning and
when she got home found this
e-mail from Meredith.......

Just left the dr with Paxton and he got a double whammy!! His first Christmas and he has the type A flu & RSV!!! He got two flu shots but the shots this year didn't cover the A strain well ( per nurse). Most people that got the shot but get the flu anyway have had A.  Now let's hope no one else gets it. He has an inhaler every 4 hours and Tamiflu

Then Mommy talked to Meredith. He has been

feeling bad since he went to see Santa Paws and

started running a fever. 

RSV can be serious and it is very contagious. 

Mostly seen in young children and can lead 

to other illnesses. 

In adults it's like a really bad cold but in babies it's worse.

Major concern is airway swelling, his O2 saturation was 

checked and it was 97% which is in the normal range.

He is sleeping now and played for a while after his first treatment.  Now they are trying to get him to drink or take in clear liquids.

Here he was having a Popsicle and  he is getting all kinds of clear liquids he has never had. Next is Jello.

 This is Puff, Pax's constant companion who
 hasn't left his side and is very worried his 
buddy doesn't feel well. Please keep our little
fella in your prayers for a quick recovery.

Before Mommy left for her home visit
today we had started today's post with
some interesting facts, of which we do
NOT agree, but then we could be wrong.
Of course then we heard about Pax and
nothing else matters. But here they are 
anyway.
