Saturday the volunteers of DREAM and ATDR
had their monthly birthday celebration for October,
even it was kinda November already. The quote we
choose for today fits this group of ladies. It's always
the same 10 ladies, 2 men and 1 baby, Paxton, at these
events but the guys, Mike and Bill, don't like to have
their pictures taken. The only ladies not in this picture
are Paula and Meredith.
Us doggies didn't get to go, as usual but we didn't
care cause this time we had our own party to go too.
OMD....were to start.
Remember last weekend we got rained out. Well yesterday
you couldn't have asked for a better day. The sun was
shining and it was cool. This was DREAM'S first ever
Dachtoberfest and it was a blast. Mommy made a Smilebox
of just the pictures she and Miss Jennifer took. There will
be tons more posted on DREAM'S website in a few days.

As all of you know my bestest Gracie Lynn left for the bridge
last month. My heart still aches. I miss my bestest very much.
I have to tell you what Miss Mindy, Gracie Lynn's Mommy did.
She told Mommy she would like to send some of Gracie
Lynn's clothes to us and we could donate them to dachshund
rescue for some of our standards. There was one dress that
Mommy loved that was Gracie Lynn's Christmas dress. So
Mommy decided to alter it to fit me or Prissy. Prissy is bigger

than me so Prissy's went as Gracie Lynn, the Christmas Princess.

Let me tell you, it was quite an accomplishment for
Mommy, since she can't even thread a needle much
less alter a dress.
