The capsule carrying the last rescued miner, Luis Urzua, emerges at the San Jose mine near Copiapo, Chile, Wednesday Oct. 13, 2010. The 69-day underground ordeal reached its end Wednesday night after 33 trapped miners were hauled up in a cage through a narrow hole drilled through 2,000 feet of rock. Always love happy endings! blessings to all, bobbi & gracie
We are so happy that they all made it out safe and that none had any really severe health issues (as of right now we haven't heard of anything). We are sending them lots of purrs and prayers because we know it will be tough for them now that they are out - but we are so happy! Mom cried when she saw the capsule come up with the last one she was so happy!
What a fantastic ending

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog today. I read about Schnitzel on the website and actually feel a lot better now. He sure is a cutie! I hope that whatever happens, he's happy and that he has a good quality of life.
Hi Mona,
by any chance did you bid on the small roo tail and treats from shelby's auction? We got this instead of the item we really bid on. I remeber you bidding on this item but wasn't sure if you won it. We bid on roo rolls and a scarf but didn't get it.

Isn't it wonderful!

Hey Mona.
Yes, this has been quite a story. It's great that everyone is safe. Gotta say this whole thing has made me re-think the depth of some of my backyard excavations.
