Hi everybody,

What a busy and fun weekend. Mommy and I have been busy today too. We went to get the oil changed in my car and got to visit with Miss Cindy, who has 3 dogs of her own. She loves to play with me and shower me with kisses. She also asked Mommy if she had ever given us a free oil change. Nope, so we got it for free today. How cool was that!!


No introductions are necessary, since Aunt Judy's boys have been on my blog almost as much as me, but Mommy loves these pictures she took of them this weekend so here they are again, George, Bandit and Harley.

So let me tell you about our weekend. The purpose of this visit was to come up with decorating ideas for our new kissing booth but really it was so Mommy could get a good "Georgie fix and I could have the chance to play with my friends.

The Bone:

Paula bought what she thought was a pillow but turned out to be a dog toy for Brooklyn. It was a huge stuffed brown and white bone. I say was because between Harley and Brooklyn it got torn up pretty fast. It was twice as big as Brooklyn and she drug it to her bed and then Harley tried to steal it away and a tugging war was on. Harley ran off with it and jumped on "our doggie couch" dragging it with him. Brooklyn was not very happy and we all got in the action.

The DROH volunteers:


You've all meet Aunt Judy, Meridith and Becky before but here are some of the others. They are the rest of the group that does everything together when we have fundraisers. Since it was raining so much, none of them brought their dachisies with them but you've seen most of them before. Me and Brooklyn are the only girls so we do kinda feel special.

The Kissing Booth:


This is our new kissing booth. It is still a work in progress. Our old one is behind it. Aunt Judy has already painted it and has been collecting stuff to put on it. There will be 2 dachshund cutouts, like the one below, kissing each other at the top on either side of the roof. There is a white picket fence that will have flowers along the bottom. I can't wait to start my kissing work in it.

Enjoying the sunshine:


Sunday was so perfect!! A little chilly but lots of sunshine, so everybody was soaking in the sunshine.

Of course there were walkies to take....

and snoopervising to to do.

Aunt Judy's yard:

The hard freezes have killed Aunt Judy's beautiful yard. Look how dead it looks and Aunt Judy wonders just what will come back, if it ever warms up again. We are all so ready for Spring to arrive.

Playing ball:

Me, Harley and Brooklyn spent much of the afternoon playing ball. Well not actually playing but keeping the ball away from each other. None of us wants to share. George and Bandit aren't ball chasers like us.

Yesterday I asked if you could tell what was written on my shirt. It says "Glamour to the bone". It was a gift from my Sammy so I'm wearing it proudly.

Can't wait for our next weekend trip!!
