MY FIRST VISIT AT AUNT JUDY'S

Quote of the day:

Prissy here.......

Yesterday Mommy and Mona took me to visit Aunt Judy and her pack of dachshunds for the first time. I was kinda shy and stuck pretty close to Mommy, either in her lap or on the floor at her feet.
It was over 100 degrees again yesterday so we didn't play outside much. Do you guys remember Mikey? Well you might if you was following this blog back in 2009 when he first came into rescue and Aunt Judy was fostering him.

Here he was on 6/06/09........
and here he was with Aunt Judy the day he went to his forever home.

Well Mona said he was a pistol. She said he went to the country with them and jumped out the window of the car when they stopped for snacks along the way. Then when they went to the catfish pond in the country he slipped out of his collar and started chasing a cow. OMD, bet that was funny. It's all in a post Mommy did back in 2009.

Well he and his sister Belle were there yesterday visiting and Mommy wanted to see him so off we went. He is still as active as ever and he and I didn't get along very well. Mommy said that's the reason I was being shy yesterday.

This is Mikey now.....he had his eye on me all day long.
  This is his sister now.......

This picture was taken on 2009 when Mikey and Belle got adopted
by the same family from DROH and became brother and sister.

So yesterday there were 9 of us dachsies and 2 Mommies visiting and just chilling out in the 100 degree heat, mostly inside.

So here we all are in case some of you don't remember everybody.

Gotta So of course Mommy took tons a pictures and made this Smilebox.

Mikey looks like he has settled well in his new home.
What a great day to spend a holiday, in the sunshine with friends!

Oh, my momma is so jealous....her dream is to one day own a dachshund farm and that would be the perfect start. I'm kinda shy too, Prissy, but that makes us special cuz most doxies aren't. Yes, my grandma got a doxie. Her name is Zoey and she is black and tan. I will do a post about her so you can see her.
